Thai Vietjet has launched flights between
Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) near Bangkok and Khon Kaen
the north east of Thailand.
The airline will operate the Bangkok-Khon Kaen
route with two flights per day. The flight time is around 1 hour
and 5 minutes per leg.
To celebrate the new route, the airline has
launched a limited-time promotion with fares from just THB 5
one-way, excluding taxes and fees, available for booking from 1-5 August for travel
between 1 August and 30 September 2020, excluding public holidays.
With international passenger flights into Thailand currently
Vietjet currently operates 8
flights per day between Bangkok and Phuket, Chiang Mai, 3 flights
from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, 2 flights per day between Bangkok and Udon Thani, Krabi, Hat Yai and Khon Kaen.
The airline plans to increase the Suvarnabhumi – Hat Yai
flights to thrice daily from 15 August 2020, and will launch Suvarnabhumi-Nakhon Si Thammarat on 6
